MarketingProfs and the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) released their latest annual study of B2B content marketing in North America. The graphic below shows which tactics are proving most effective:

Most Effective B2B Content Marketing Tactics

For the 4th consecutive year, the study finds that in-person events (70%) are B2B content marketers’ most effective tactic.

This is an interesting stat considering a recent community discussion on virtual events vs. in-person events. While virtual events are cost & time efficient many argue that you simply can’t replace the value of face-to-face interaction. This stat definitely helps prove that point.

Do you agree with this stat? Do you think this stat will change with the rise of Generation Y/Millenials into the workforce, and we'll see a shift towards more virtual events? Or will face-to-face interaction always have value?
