Integrate and Demand Metric’s 2025 research announcement examines lead data quality as a barrier to B2B marketing execution. The study includes more than 200 senior marketing operations and demand generation professionals.
Nearly three-quarters of respondents estimated that at least one-tenth of their lead data was inaccurate, outdated, or noncompliant. That is a finding about respondents’ assessments of their data—not a claim that three-quarters of all lead records are defective.
The announcement also connects data problems with disrupted sales handoffs and interest in stronger governance. Its practical implication is to examine how leads are checked, standardized, and routed before asking Sales to act on them.

Later pickup: IT Business Plus carried the announcement in June 2026. It refers to the 2025 research, not a new 2026 study.
