Built around your team’s real work.

Explore who the project is for, what is included, and how the work unfolds.

Your team knows its customers and markets, but proactive opportunity development can lose ground to day-to-day demands. Promising ideas need a consistent way to become qualified opportunities, clear plans, and customer commitments.

Growth & Pipeline: Hunt for Growth is an illustrative program built around real commercial work. Teams can start with existing high-impact opportunities, growth within key accounts, or attractive new markets and applications.

This example describes a proposed engagement and its intended outcomes. The program is shaped around each organization's priorities, people, and opportunities.

Who this project is for

Commercial leaders who want teams to develop growth opportunities while improving how they work together. Participants can include sales, marketing, technical specialists, and experienced colleagues who may become future coaches.

The organization brings real opportunities, an executive sponsor, protected time for weekly teamwork and customer engagement, and access to approved tools and information.

  • Selected opportunities and cross-functional team assignments.
  • Growth Opportunity Canvases and project plans.
  • Qualification questions, discovery priorities, and buying-group maps.
  • Named owners, customer next steps, and mutual action plans where appropriate.
  • A progress review with lessons, next actions, and recommendations for wider application.

The mix of workshop time, coaching, learning sessions, and supporting tools is agreed during scoping.

  1. Prepare. Select opportunities, assemble cross-functional teams, and agree on sponsorship, responsibilities, and measures.
  2. Launch the hunt. Use a working session to prioritize opportunities, develop Growth Opportunity Canvases, and leave with project plans, owners, and first actions.
  3. Apply and learn. Teams meet weekly and make time for customer work. Coaching every two weeks helps them work through live challenges, supported by focused learning and practical tools.
  4. Review and decide. Assess progress and lessons, identify practices worth repeating, and agree on the next steps for the opportunities and the wider program.

Coaching develops five connected skills: identify opportunities, qualify the potential, discover customer needs, engage the buying group, and advance the pursuit. Commercial, market, and technical judgment contribute throughout.

A launch workshop followed by a coaching period agreed around the opportunities and team capacity.
